Frequently asked questions

It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion. As a small business, I pride myself in personal attention and dedication to every detail. My approach is rooted in quality and integrity, ensuring that everything I do reflects my commitment to excellence.

Q: What training methods do you use?

A: I use positive reinforcement — a science-based, reward-focused method that helps your dog learn through encouragement, not force or fear. This means plenty of treats, praise, and play to build confidence and trust. Owners are encourage to include what treats/enrichment items are high value to their pups to incorporate for highest success!

Q: What types of training do you offer?

A: I offer private lessons, puppy training, basic obedience, behavior modification, and help with common issues like jumping, barking, or leash pulling, as well as more advanced and complex behaviors (reactivity, handling sensitivity). Custom programs are available and created to fit your dog’s individual needs.

Q: How long does training take?

A: Every dog learns at their own pace. Some behaviors can improve in just a few sessions, while others may take longer and require continued practice by their families when not training with me! I’ll help you set realistic goals and create a plan that works for both you and your pup. Progress tracking and reports available.

Q: Do you work with all breeds and ages?

A: Absolutely! I train dogs of all breeds, sizes, temperaments, and ages — from brand-new puppies to adult rescues and senior dogs!

Q: Where do training sessions take place?

A: Training can be done in your home, outdoors, or virtually depending on your preference and your dog’s needs.

Q: Do you offer virtual training?

A: Yes! Virtual sessions are a great option for busy schedules or for dogs who do best in a calm home environment.

Q: What should I bring to a session?

A: Bring your dog’s favorite treats, a leash, and any training tools we’ve discussed. Most importantly, bring a positive attitude and patience — your dog will feed off your energy! I always bring spare gear, leashes, and always stocked up with high value treats just in case!

Q: Can I contact you for virtual support if I live far away?

A: Absolutely! I am here to help support struggling pet owners in all needs with a personalized approach. I offer virtual training sessions and instruction via Zoom, create training/modification plans for families to optimize, and am willing to travel beyond the typical zone and make things work to the best of my ability.

How do I get started?

A: You can book a consultation or contact me directly through the website to discuss your goals and schedule your first session. I offer affordable, low-cost training packages additionally - please inquire!
